A BRIDESMAID'S RANT In Lafayette, Louisiana's The Advertiser, Jessica Waldon shares a few funny words about being a bridesmaid:

I just have one question for all the brides out there: Why must bridesmaids be used as a decorative piece for the bride's pleasure?

Think about it. Bridesmaids for the most part are "dressed" in a color the bride has chosen to go with her "theme." And these dresses usually have no style to them and are just a piece of colored fabric that hangs to the floor. So, why can't she just rent some columns and drape colored tulle over them? Isn't that the same principle?

I'm beginning to tear up just thinking about it.
