GETTING THE GROOM INVOLVED From the Gaithersburg-based Gazette:
After 20 years of coordinating weddings, Dianne George, owner of Clinton-based Covenant Weddings, said that after a single consultation with a couple she’s able to determine how involved the groom will be. Over the years George has discovered that in the beginning male interest toward planning a wedding is relatively high. But their interest wanes, she said, after the initial consultation with a wedding planner. It’s during that time, says George, when the reality of an extensive to-do-list begins to set in for most men.
